
In the schizophrenic character of Colorado weather, today’s forecast has been labeled “a quasi-wacky weather day,” with a chance of snow 11 a.m.- 1p.m., which could turn to rain and then back to snow. “If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes,” I can hear my mother saying, trying to convince a 6-year-old me that a skirt might not be the best option for a December school day.
But the upside of wacky weather, perhaps, is that it allows you to do somewhat wacky things. Take the below picture of Aleia Baca and her cousin William Goode.
“Hmm, I don’t have a sled,” I imagine Aleia saying. “Can I slide through the snow on you?”
