Is your child one of the best and brightest of graduating seniors in the Pikes Peak region?
If so, The Gazette wants to get to know them — and perhaps give him or her some cash, a published profile in the newspaper and a standing ovation during a community reception at the U.S. Olympic Complex.
For the 17th year, The Gazette is running the Best and Brightest program, which recognizes 25 graduating seniors who have excelled academically and have made contributions to their schools and the community. Students submit a personal essay to be judged by a committee of business, nonprofit and community leaders and educators.
To download a Word or PDF copy of the Best and Brightest application, visit www2.gazette.com/bestandbrightest. Or, contact Amanda Mountain at 636-0204 or Amanda.Mountain@gazette.com for details.
Applications and essays must be received by 5 p.m. on April 9 at The Gazette, 30 S. Prospect St. Stay tuned to Pikes Peak Parent news for more information.
